Well, I have completed my first finish of the snowpocalypse - "Wise Owl" by Sandy Orton. Here he is, all stitched and framed!
"Wise Owl" by Sandy Orton - first finish of the snowpocalypse! |
We are getting some serious wind and snow here - including a few flashes of THUNDERSNOW! It is pretty intense. There are about six inches of snow on the ground, with more coming down by the minute. I went outside and took a picture so you can appreciate just how serious "Nemo" is!

I hope you are all staying safe and warm - I will be back tomorrow to check in! Next up on my stitching list is a few hours of work on "Celestial Dragon."
Happy stitching!

ReplyDeleteWe missed this storm in Maryland and I am really bummed! I am the only citizen of Maryland that is bummed by this.
Isolated and surrounded by green in Maryland.
Pity me.
The picture is beautiful, but obviously, that we get scared of the nature's moods... take care of yourself and be safe!
ReplyDeletethe owl nevertheless turned out cute, I like the color of its feathers :)

Stay safe and warm. Thankfully you didn't lose power, which means MOAR STITCHING!
ReplyDeleteI just finished Celestial Dragon a couple of months ago. It's really stunningly beautiful when done, but the beading is crazy making.
Cant wait to watch your progress on it.
I love the owl. is it done with variegated threads? We have snow over here too but quite a bit less than you it seems.
